VISION BANDTM
Patent pending

Yira-Vision Band

Traditional glasses pinch your nose and cause sinus pressure, a 700-year-old problem no one's fixed. The Yira-Vision Band is my patent-pending, non nose-reliant eyewear system that takes all that weight off your nose entirely.

The pitch

Traditional glasses pinch your nose and cause sinus pressure, a 700-year-old problem no one's fixed. I start with V1, a universal storage headband that any pair of glasses can attach to, so the band holds them instead of your nose and they're always stored and within reach. Then the Yira-Vision Band is my patent-pending, non nose-reliant eyewear system: a structured headband where the frame deploys and retracts on its own hinge mechanism, so your nose never carries the weight, and a user-adjustable PressurePlay bridge lets you dial in your own custom fit. When you're not using it, the frame retracts straight into its own lined case built into the headband, so it's protected from hair oils, skin, and debris instead of sitting exposed on top of your head the way traditional glasses do, or you can wear it around your neck instead. The lenses are removable and interchangeable, so you swap lenses instead of buying multiple pairs of readers, and you can even drop to a single lens for close-up tasks where two lenses would get in the way. Built for the 73 million Americans who need OTC readers, from a Black woman-owned, mom-owned inventor.
